Honda Cars India is gearing up to introduce its latest offering, the Elevate SUV, in the market within the next few months.
The Japanese automaker will mark its entry into the mid-size SUV segment with this highly anticipated vehicle.
The company has officially confirmed that the new SUV will be equipped with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, offering customers a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
In addition to the petrol variant, Honda also has plans to introduce an electric version of the SUV in the market within the next three years.
In a recent dealer meeting, Honda shared some key details about the upcoming SUV,
hinting that the price and launch timeline will be announced in September, just in time for the upcoming festive season.
Price and Variants
The Honda Elevate is expected to be available in four different variants, with an estimated ex-showroom price ranging from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 22 lakh.
These competitive price points put the Elevate in a similar range as its key rivals, including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
For comparison, the ex-showroom price of the Hyundai Creta varies between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh,
while the Kia Seltos ranges from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 10.89 lakh, and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has a price range of Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 19.79 lakh.
Booking Opens
Enthusiastic buyers will have the opportunity to secure their Honda Elevate by placing a booking starting from 3rd July.
The SUV is expected to come packed with an array of impressive features, such as a prominent 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Other notable features include a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and a single-pane sunroof.
Furthermore, the Elevate will be equipped with Honda’s Sensing ADAS suite, which encompasses advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control,
lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, collision mitigation braking system, and high beam control.

The Honda Elevate SUV will directly compete with the Hyundai Creta, which offers both automatic and manual transmission options with petrol and diesel engine choices.
