Toyota has launched the 2026 Hilux in India with a starting price of ₹31.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The latest version of the popular pickup truck comes with a refreshed design, upgraded cabin, and several new features while retaining its rugged body-on-frame platform.
Bookings for the new Hilux are now open, and deliveries will begin from the second week of August.
The pickup continues to compete with the Isuzu V-Cross in the Indian market.
2026 Toyota Hilux Price and Variants
Toyota is offering the new Hilux in three automatic variants:

Compared to the previous model, the base variant is now ₹3.47 lakh more expensive, while the top-end variant costs only ₹69,000 more.
New Exterior Design Gets a Tougher Look
The 2026 Hilux receives several styling updates that give it a bolder appearance.
At the front, it features:

Honeycomb grille
Bold TOYOTA lettering
Larger air intakes
Silver skid plate
LED fog lamps
From the side, the pickup gets black wheel arch cladding, 17-inch alloy wheels, roll bars, side footboards, power-adjustable and retractable ORVMs, and a shark-fin antenna.
At the rear, Toyota has added new LED taillamps with a C-shaped lighting pattern, TOYOTA branding across the tailgate, and a redesigned bumper with an integrated step for easier access to the cargo bed.

However, the India-spec model misses out on some features available internationally, including:

Instead, it comes with manual AC controls and a smaller instrument display.

Powering the pickup is the familiar 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
The engine is now paired only with a 6-speed automatic transmission, as Toyota has discontinued the manual gearbox option.
For the first time, the Hilux is also available in a 4×2 rear-wheel-drive version, alongside the existing 4×4 variants.
