Skoda car prices have increased across the company’s India portfolio from October 1, 2026. The price hike is up to ₹20,000 or 1.2% of the ex-showroom price, depending on the model and variant.

Skoda Auto India said the increase is due to higher input and operating costs. The company’s current portfolio includes the Kylak, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq.

Skoda Car Prices Increase

The company has not yet announced the exact revised prices for every model and variant. However, the maximum increase will be limited to 1.2%, which means some variants could see a lower price increase.

Based on the current ex-showroom prices and maximum hike reported for the models, the Kylak could see an increase of up to ₹15,588. The Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq could see a maximum increase of ₹20,000.

The price hike also applies to new variants and performance-focused models introduced by Skoda in India during 2026.

Skoda Changes Prices Again

This is the second time Skoda has increased car prices in India in 2026. In January, the company raised Slavia prices by up to ₹34,000 and Kylak prices by up to ₹19,000.

The Kushaq also received a price increase of around ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 at that time. The latest hike comes as the company continues to update its India portfolio.

Skoda sold 72,655 cars in India during 2025. According to a CarWale report, the company had sold more than 50,000 units by August 2026.

Slavia Facelift Launch on October 6

The latest price increase comes just a few days before the launch of the updated Slavia. Skoda is preparing to launch the Slavia facelift in India on October 6, 2026.

Production of the updated sedan has already started, while bookings have also opened. The facelift brings changes to the exterior design along with new features.

The updated Slavia will continue with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI engine is expected to get an 8-speed automatic transmission, replacing the earlier 6-speed automatic setup.

The 1.5-litre engine will continue to be paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. More details about the facelift, including its final prices and variant-wise changes, will be revealed around the launch.
