Honda Elevate Facelift Launch takes place in India on October 6, bringing the first major update to Honda’s midsize SUV since its introduction in 2023.
The facelift focuses on refreshed styling, cabin upgrades and additional features while retaining the existing petrol powertrain.
The updated SUV has been introduced first in India, with pre-launch bookings already opened at authorised Honda dealerships.
The booking amount was set at ₹21,000.
Honda Elevate Facelift Launch Brings New Design
The facelifted Elevate gets a noticeably revised front-end design.
Honda has introduced a new grille treatment along with segmented LED daytime running lamps, while the Honda logo has been repositioned higher on the bonnet.
At the rear, the SUV gets connected LED tail-lights that give it a more modern appearance.
The overall shape and proportions remain familiar, keeping the Elevate recognisable as the same midsize SUV.
The cabin has also received a visual update.
Honda has previewed a lighter interior theme, revised dashboard treatment and ambient lighting across the dashboard and door areas, giving the SUV a more premium feel.
More Features Added to Honda Elevate
One of the key changes is the expansion of the equipment list.
The updated Elevate is expected to offer features such as a 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats, which were not factory-fitted on the outgoing model.
Other reported additions include a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a powered co-driver seat, rear sunblinds and dual-zone climate control.
The final availability of features can vary by variant and is subject to Honda’s official specifications.
The facelift also aims to improve the Elevate’s position in the highly competitive midsize SUV segment, where buyers increasingly look for premium comfort and technology features.
Engine and Gearbox Remain the Same
The mechanical package remains largely unchanged with the facelift. The SUV continues with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 121hp and 145Nm.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. A major mechanical upgrade or new hybrid powertrain is not part of the facelift update.
This means the main focus of the new model is on exterior styling, interior presentation, comfort and technology rather than a complete change to the powertrain.
Honda Elevate Facelift Price and Rivals
The official price of the updated SUV is an important detail for buyers, particularly because the facelift brings several equipment upgrades.
Honda is expected to position the new Elevate against established midsize SUV rivals while using the additional features to strengthen its appeal.
The Honda Elevate competes in a segment that includes models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
Honda Elevate Facelift Launch marks a significant update to the SUV without turning it into an entirely new generation.
The combination of revised styling, a more premium cabin and additional convenience features is expected to be the main attraction for buyers.
