Bajaj Auto has exciting news for Pulsar fans. The company is all set to launch a new Pulsar motorcycle on August 12.

This launch is special because it also marks the beginning of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Pulsar brand.

Bajaj has already confirmed that it will introduce 10 new and heavily updated Pulsar motorcycles in the coming months. These models will be available in the 125cc to 160cc segments.

Which Pulsar Could Launch First?

Reports suggest that the next-generation Pulsar 160 is the strongest contender for the August 12 launch. However, Bajaj could also introduce the updated Pulsar N160 or the new Pulsar 125.

The company has not officially revealed which model will be launched first.

New Platform and Better Ride Quality

The upcoming Pulsar is expected to be built on a completely new platform. It could get a new chassis, an updated engine, improved cycle parts, and several modern features.

One of the biggest expected upgrades is a rear monoshock suspension, replacing the current twin shock absorbers. This change is likely to improve both ride comfort and handling.

Sportier Design with Modern Features

Bajaj is expected to keep the Pulsar’s muscular fuel tank and aggressive styling while giving it a fresh look.

The new model could feature sharper body panels, redesigned side panels, a new tank shroud, and a full LED lighting setup for a more premium appearance.

Test mules spotted on the road also hint at major updates. The bike is expected to come with a fully digital instrument cluster offering Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and other connected features.

Electric Pulsar Also on the Way

Bajaj has also confirmed that its first electric motorcycle will be launched in the next financial year. The electric bike will first be introduced in export markets before arriving in India.

At the same time, the company is working on a new Pulsar 125. If it is not ready in time, Bajaj may instead launch a significantly updated Pulsar N160.

With several new launches planned, Bajaj is preparing to strengthen its Pulsar lineup and increase competition in the 125cc to 160cc motorcycle segment.
