Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited has launched its new electric three-wheeler, the Mahindra UDO.
The company says this vehicle is designed to set new standards in design, performance, and comfort in the last-mile transport segment.
The ex-showroom price of the UDO is ₹3,84,299. However, for a limited time, it is available at a starting price of ₹3,58,999.
Performance and Driving Range
The company claims that the UDO offers a real-world driving range of 200 km, while its ARAI-certified range is 265 km.
It comes with an 11.7 kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery and a motor that delivers 10 kW of peak power.
The vehicle offers three drive modes — Range, Ride, and Race — allowing drivers to choose according to traffic conditions and their needs. Its top speed is up to 55 km per hour.
The UDO also includes features such as regenerative braking, reverse throttle, creep mode, and hill hold assist, making it easier to drive in city traffic and on slopes.
For safety, it is equipped with powerful drum brakes and tubeless tyres. The company is offering a warranty of 1.5 lakh kilometres or 6 years.
Design, Comfort and Build Quality
According to the company, the UDO is the first in its segment to be built on a fully monocoque production platform, which improves structural strength and ride quality.
It features an aircraft-inspired design, a large windshield, advanced headlamps, and an aerodynamic body that gives it a strong road presence. Inside, it offers a “pilot seat” for the driver and more legroom and headroom for passengers.
The vehicle is equipped with independent rear suspension and dual front fork suspension, which improve stability on uneven roads.
Company Statement and Production Details
Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, said that the product is based on deep research into customer needs. The aim is to make last-mile transportation safer, more dignified, and more efficient.
The company stated that the UDO is being produced at its plant in Zaheerabad, Telangana. The facility has automatic battery assembly and robotic production lines.
India is considered the world’s largest electric three-wheeler market. Industry experts believe that better range and lower operating costs will help increase drivers’ income.
