New Delhi:
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) introduces the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train for the financial year 2024-25, offering a unique spiritual journey across northern India.
The tour, named “Uttar Bharat Ramlala Darshan Ex-New Jalpaiguri,” aims to provide passengers with a spiritual experience,
including visits to the newly built Ram Temple and sacred pilgrimage sites such as Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir.
Tour Details
The 8-night and 9-day religious tourism journey will commence on May 18 and conclude on May 26, 2024.
Passengers will embark on this memorable journey from New Jalpaiguri aboard the Bharat Gaurav tourist train,
with boarding and deboarding facilities available at various stations along the route,
including Malda Town, Rampurhat, Dumka, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Kiul, Patna, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.
Accommodation and Facilities
Passengers can choose from Sleeper class (SL) and 3AC packages,
with accommodation provided in non-AC hotels and commuting facilitated by non-AC buses within cities.
A dedicated tour manager will accompany passengers throughout the journey.
Additionally, passengers will enjoy three meals a day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all included in the package.
Package Pricing and Booking
The Bharat Gaurav tour offers affordable pricing,
with the economy class package priced at Rs 17,900 per person and the comfort class package at Rs 29,500 per person.
As part of the Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme, Indian Railways is offering a 33% concession on these prices.
Seat confirmations will be provided two days before the trip’s commencement, with 660 seats available in SL class and 120 seats in 3AC.
Places of Interest
Passengers will have the opportunity to visit renowned pilgrimage sites, including Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra, Bharat Mata Devi Temple in Haridwar,
Har Ki Pauri in Rishikesh, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat in Mathura and Vrindavan, and Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.
The tour promises a fulfilling experience, including witnessing the Ganga Aarti ceremony.
