Indian Railways launches Coimbatore–Jaipur Special Trains

Good news for passengers travelling between Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.

Southern Railway has announced weekly special trains between Coimbatore and Jaipur to meet the growing travel demand during the festive and busy season.

A total of four special services will run in each direction between mid-August and early September.

These trains will operate as fully reserved Weekly Express Specials, giving passengers an additional option for long-distance travel.

The special trains will also improve rail connectivity across several states, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Coimbatore to Jaipur Special Train Schedule

The Coimbatore–Jaipur Weekly Express Special (Train No. 06181) will run on:

August 13

August 20

August 27

September 3

The train will depart Coimbatore at 2:30 AM and reach Jaipur at 1:25 PM on the third day of the journey.

Jaipur to Coimbatore Return Schedule

The Jaipur–Coimbatore Weekly Express Special (Train No. 06182) will operate on:

August 16

August 23

August 30

September 6

The train will leave Jaipur at 10:05 PM and arrive in Coimbatore at 8:30 AM on the fourth day.

In total, four services will be operated in each direction.

Reservation Now Open

Booking for these fully reserved special trains opened at 8:00 AM on August 6 from the Southern Railway end.

Passengers planning to travel are advised to book their tickets as early as possible, as these special trains have been introduced to accommodate the expected rush and seats may fill up quickly.
