Honda launches Activa E and QC1 Electric Scooters in India: Check Prices & Features

Honda has finally launched the much-awaited two-wheelers in the market. The company has introduced the Honda Activa electric scooter along with the QC1 electric scooter.

Both models boast a powerful design and aim to outshine other electric scooters currently available.

The Honda Activa E comes equipped with a swappable battery setup, while the QC1 features a fixed battery, showcasing Honda’s effort to cater to different user needs effectively.

The Honda Activa electric scooter will be available in three major Indian cities—Bengaluru, NCR Delhi, and Mumbai—from February 2025. Bookings will start in January 2025.

Honda will also offer Honda e:Swap, a battery-sharing service using the Honda Mobile Power Pack E, in these cities.

The company mentioned that this model is being introduced exclusively for the Indian market.

Features of Honda Activa E Scooter

The Honda Activa Electric is built on the body and frame of the Activa ICE version, Honda’s best-selling scooter, with around 2.5 million units sold annually.

The Activa e: is an electric commuter model, similar to the 110 cc internal combustion engine version, and is powered by two Honda Mobile Power Pack e: swappable batteries.

Its design is based on the popular ACTIVA, which is well-loved by Indian customers.

The styling remains simple, with LED communal lights and indicators at the front and rear, giving it a futuristic look.

The scooter comes with two Honda Mobile Power Packs. The wheel-side motor delivers a rated output of 4.2 kW and a maximum output of 6.0 kW.

QC1 Scooter Features

The Honda QC1 is a moped set to launch in 2025, designed specifically for the Indian market. It is a fixed-battery electric scooter built for daily use.

The scooter comes with a 1.5 kWh fixed battery that can be recharged at home using a dedicated charger.

The Honda QC1 features a compact in-wheel motor in the rear wheel, with a rated output of 1.2 kW and a maximum output of 1.8 kW.

It is equipped with high-frequency LEDs and a 5-inch LCD instrument panel that displays speed and other essential information, including a battery indicator for convenience.

Under the seat, there is a luggage box to store helmets and small items. Additionally, the scooter includes an internal rack and a USB Type-C socket for charging mobile devices.

Price

Both electric scooters have been launched, and their prices will be announced in January. Deliveries to customers will begin in February.
