If you are planning to invest your money in a fixed deposit, there is an important update for you.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank (SSFB) has revised its FD interest rates for deposits below ₹3 crore.

The new rates came into effect from August 15, 2026 and apply to fixed deposits with tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years.

Regular customers can earn up to 8.25% per year, while senior citizens can get a maximum interest rate of 8.50% per year on selected tenures.

Which FD Offers the Highest Interest?

For regular customers, the highest interest rate of 8.25% is available on a 5-year fixed deposit. The annualised yield on this FD is 8.51%.

Senior citizens get an even higher rate on the same tenure. A 5-year FD offers them 8.50% interest, with an annualised yield of 8.77%.

The bank’s rates vary depending on the length of the deposit.

For regular customers:

7 to 14 days: 4%

6 months and 1 day: 6.50%

1 year: 7.25%

18 months: 7.80%

30 months: 8.10%

5 years: 8.25%

These rates are applicable to domestic fixed deposits below ₹3 crore.

Senior Citizens Get Extra Interest

Senior citizens can earn a higher rate than regular customers on several FD tenures.

Under the revised rates:

6 months and 1 day: 6.65%

1 year: 7.40%

18 months: 7.95%

30 months: 8.25%

5 years: 8.50%

For example, a 5-year FD gives regular customers 8.25%, while senior citizens receive 8.50%.

Similarly, the interest rate on an 18-month FD is 7.80% for regular customers and 7.95% for senior citizens.

FD Options From 7 Days to 10 Years

One of the key features of Suryoday Small Finance Bank’s FD scheme is the wide range of available tenures.

Customers can choose deposits starting from 7 days and going up to 10 years.

This allows investors to select a tenure based on their financial goals and when they may need access to their money.

Short-term FDs can be useful for those who want to keep their money invested for a shorter period, while longer tenures may suit customers looking for more stable long-term returns.

The revised rates apply to domestic deposits below ₹3 crore.

The bank has separate interest rates for eligible NRE and NRO deposits.

Before investing, customers should check the latest applicable rates, terms and premature withdrawal conditions directly with the bank.
