Audi to hike all its Vehicle Prices by up to 3% in India from January 2025

German luxury car maker Audi will raise the prices of all its vehicles in India by up to 3% starting from January 1, 2025.

The company, which sells models like A4, A6, Q3, Q5, and Q7 in India, stated that this price hike is essential for sustainable growth for both the company and its dealer partners.

Audi India head Balbir Singh Dhillon mentioned, “We aim to minimize the impact of this price increase on our customers.”

Earlier, two other German luxury car makers, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, also announced price hikes for their vehicles in India starting January next year.

BMW India stated it will increase the prices of all its models by up to 3% from January 1, 2025.

The company’s Made in India cars include the 2 Series Gran Coupe, 3 Series Long Wheelbase, 5 Series Long Wheelbase, 7 Series Long Wheelbase, X1, X3, X5, X7, and M340i.

BMW also sells models like the i4, i5, i7, i7 M70, iX1, BMW iX, Z4 M40i, and M2 Coupe as Completely Built Up Units (CBUs) in India.

How expensive will Mercedes-Benz cars become?

Mercedes-Benz has announced it will increase the prices of all its vehicles in India by up to 3% starting January 1, 2025.

The company stated that this price hike is due to rising costs, inflationary pressures, and high operational expenses.

According to Mercedes-Benz India, the prices of its cars will rise by Rs 2 lakh for the GLC and Rs 9 lakh for the top-end Mercedes-Maybach S 680 luxury limousine.

Currently, Mercedes-Benz offers a wide range of vehicles in India, priced between Rs 45 lakh and Rs 3.6 crore.

Prices of BMW bikes will also increase

BMW Motorrad, the two-wheeler maker, has announced a price increase of up to 2.5% for all its vehicles, effective from January 1, 2025.

The company stated that this decision was made due to rising raw material costs and inflationary pressures.

BMW Motorrad began its operations as the Indian subsidiary of the BMW Group in April 2017 and sells premium motorcycles and scooters in India.
