India’s electric vehicle market is growing fast, and Oben Electric has added a new option for buyers.
The company has launched its latest electric bike, Oben Rorr EVO, with a starting price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom). This price is only for the first 10,000 customers, making it an attractive early deal.
The company says this bike is built to offer both strong performance and everyday practicality, making it suitable for daily commuting as well as occasional spirited rides.
Bold Design with Strong Road Presence
The design of the Rorr EVO looks muscular and eye-catching. It has a bold stance that gives it a strong presence on the road.
At the front, the bike gets a projector headlamp along with signature position lamps. The body features sculpted panels and premium detailing, which adds to its modern and stylish look. Overall, the design balances style and practicality quite well.
Performance, Range and Charging
The Rorr EVO offers a top speed of 110 km/h and comes with a certified range of 180 km (IDC). This makes it a practical option for daily use as well as longer city rides.
Charging is also quick. The bike can go from 0 to 80% in just 90 minutes using a fast charger. It also includes a built-in charger for regular use at home.
In terms of acceleration, the bike can reach 40 km/h in just 3 seconds, which makes it quite responsive in city traffic.
Smart Features with AI Support
One of the highlights of the bike is its SmartIQ system. This AI-based ride mode studies how you ride and adjusts power delivery in real time.
This not only improves performance but can also increase the range by up to 15%. The system works automatically, so riders don’t have to keep changing settings manually.
Battery and Durability
The Rorr EVO comes with a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, which is known for better safety and durability. Compared to regular lithium-ion batteries, it offers higher heat resistance and a longer life cycle.
The battery is protected inside a strong aluminum casing, making it safer and more impact-resistant. The company is also offering an 8-year warranty, which adds confidence for long-term use.
Comfort and Practical Use
This bike is designed keeping daily usability in mind. It has a long seat measuring 680 mm, making it comfortable for both rider and pillion.
The seat height is 780 mm, and the bike offers 200 mm ground clearance, which is useful on rough roads. It also has a wading depth of 230 mm, helping in waterlogged conditions.
There is 10 liters of storage space, along with dual USB charging ports, making it practical for everyday needs.
Safety and Connected Technology
The Rorr EVO focuses heavily on safety and connectivity. It comes with a Fall Alert system that detects accidents and sends alerts through the app.
Other safety features include brake assist, driver alerts, safe charging, and a wide rear tire for better stability.
The bike also gets a 5-inch TFT display that shows navigation, ride data, and notifications for calls and messages. Through the mobile app, users can access features like ride history, geo-fencing, theft protection, and remote diagnostics.
Price, Colours and Availability
The Rorr EVO is available in four colours – Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.
The introductory price is ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 buyers. After that, the price will go up to ₹1,24,999.
Bookings have already started for ₹777, and deliveries are expected to begin from June 2026 across 150 showrooms in India.
