Bajaj Auto has introduced a major update to its popular Chetak electric scooter lineup. The company has improved performance, added new features, and even renamed the entire range to make it more organized and easier to understand.
The updated 2026 lineup is now called the C Series, which includes three segments: C 35, C 30, and C 25.
This new naming system makes it simpler for buyers to choose the right model, especially as the Chetak range has grown quickly in recent years due to strong demand.
Smarter Navigation with Google Maps
One of the biggest highlights of this update is the addition of Google Maps in the top model, the C 35 01. Riders can now access navigation directly through the Chetak app.
Google Maps replaces the older map system, giving users a more familiar and smoother navigation experience. This change comes after many customers asked for better navigation support.
Faster Speed and Better Performance
Bajaj has also improved the speed and performance across all models.
C 35 01 & C 35 02: Top speed increased from 73 kmph to 80 kmph
C 35 03 & C 30 01: Now reach 70 kmph (earlier 63 kmph)
C 25 01: Top speed increased from 55 kmph to 60 kmph
The flagship model also gets a motor upgrade from 4.5 kW to 4.8 kW, making rides quicker and smoother in daily use.
Faster Charging Saves Time
Charging time has also improved significantly. The C 30 01 model now charges from 0 to 80% in just 2 hours 55 minutes, compared to the earlier 3 hours 50 minutes.
This means users can get back on the road almost an hour faster, making the scooter more convenient for daily commuting.
More Features at No Extra Cost
Earlier, features like Sport and Eco ride modes and Hill Hold Assist were limited to select variants and required extra payment.
Now, these features come standard on all C 35 and C 30 models, giving better value without increasing cost.
No More Service Center Visits for Updates
Bajaj has also improved its over-the-air (OTA) updates. Models like C 35 01 and C 35 02 can now receive software updates, performance upgrades, and new features remotely.
This means no need to visit a service center for updates—the scooter stays up-to-date automatically, saving both time and effort.
