Managing separate reward points for flights and hotels may soon become much easier.

In a first-of-its-kind partnership in India, IndiGo’s BluChip loyalty program and Accor’s ALL (Accor Live Limitless) loyalty program have teamed up to let members use their reward points across both platforms.

The partnership is expected to make travel more rewarding, especially for people who fly and stay in hotels regularly.

How Will This Partnership Work?

Under the new agreement, members of both loyalty programs will be able to earn, convert, and redeem reward points on each other’s platforms.

For example, if you earn reward points after booking an IndiGo flight through BluChip, you can convert those points into Accor ALL points and use them to book hotel stays, enjoy dining, or access other hotel services.

Similarly, reward points earned while staying at an Accor hotel can be converted into BluChip points and used to book IndiGo flights.

This means travelers no longer have to keep flight and hotel rewards separate, making it easier to get more value from every trip.

Who Will Benefit the Most?

The biggest beneficiaries of this partnership are likely to be frequent travelers.

Business professionals who travel regularly, families planning vacations, and frequent flyers can use their accumulated reward points more efficiently instead of letting them remain unused in separate loyalty programs.

The partnership gives travelers greater flexibility in deciding how and where to spend their points.

A Large Travel Network for More Choices

IndiGo currently operates flights to more than 140 domestic and international destinations.

Accor, on the other hand, has a global presence with over 45 hotel brands across multiple countries.

Together, the two companies offer travelers a wider range of flight and accommodation options.

What the Companies Said

IndiGo’s Chief Digital and Information Officer, Neetan Chopra, said the partnership will provide customers with a more connected travel experience by linking flights and hotel stays.

Ranju Alex, Chief Executive Officer of Accor South Asia, said the collaboration will deliver greater value, personalized benefits, and a better overall travel experience for customers.

Why This Partnership Is Important

This is one of India’s first major partnerships that allows two-way exchange of reward points between an airline and a hotel group.

The move reflects a growing trend in the travel industry, where companies are focusing on providing a complete travel experience instead of offering only flights or hotel bookings.

For travelers, it means greater flexibility, better use of reward points, and more savings on future trips.
