Passengers flying from Jodhpur Airport in Rajasthan should note an important update. From July 12, 2026, all major airlines will start operating from the airport’s new terminal building.
Airlines have advised travelers to reach the airport earlier than usual, as the shift to the new terminal may take extra time for check-in and other airport procedures.
IndiGo Issues Travel Advisory
India’s largest airline, IndiGo, has informed passengers that all its flights from Jodhpur Airport (JDH) will operate from the new terminal starting July 12.
The airline has requested passengers to arrive well before their flight time to complete check-in, security checks, and boarding without any last-minute rush.
Air India Also Advises Early Arrival
Air India has also released a similar advisory for its passengers.
According to the airline, all Air India flights from Jodhpur Airport will use the new terminal from July 12, 2026.
Since this is the first phase of operations at the new facility, passengers are advised to reach the airport early to ensure a smooth travel experience.
New Terminal Inaugurated by PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new terminal building at Jodhpur Airport on July 4, 2026. During the event, he also launched the next phase of the UDAN regional connectivity scheme.
The new terminal has been built at a cost of ₹480 crore. It covers more than 23,000 square meters
and has the capacity to handle around 2 million passengers every year, making air travel from Jodhpur faster and more convenient.
