Maruti car prices have increased by up to Rs 30,000 across selected Arena and Nexa models in August 2026. The latest revision affects several popular cars, including the Baleno, Fronx and Victoris, making some variants costlier for buyers.
The price increase varies depending on the model and variant. While some entry-level cars have become costlier by around Rs 2,500, the Baleno has received the biggest hike of up to Rs 30,000.
Maruti Car Prices Increase Across Popular Models
Among Arena models, the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio and WagonR have received increases of up to Rs 2,500. The Swift is now up to Rs 5,000 more expensive.
The Dzire and Tour S have become costlier by Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000, while the Ertiga has received a price increase ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500.
The Brezza and Eeco prices have also increased by up to Rs 5,000. The Victoris has received the highest hike among the Arena models, with prices rising by up to Rs 10,000 depending on the variant.
Baleno Gets the Biggest Price Hike
The Baleno has received the steepest increase in the latest revision. Selected variants of the premium hatchback are now up to Rs 30,000 more expensive.
According to available variant-wise details, the Baleno Alpha variants have received a hike of up to Rs 30,000, while Zeta variants have become Rs 15,000 costlier. Delta variants have seen an increase of Rs 7,500, while the Sigma petrol-manual variant remains unchanged.
The increase means buyers considering higher Baleno variants will need to arrange a larger budget than before.
Fronx, e Vitara and Jimny Also Cost More
Several Nexa models have also received price increases. The Fronx is now up to Rs 7,500 more expensive, while the Grand Vitara has received a hike of up to Rs 5,000.
The XL6 has become Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500 costlier, while the Invicto has received an increase of up to Rs 10,000. The Jimny and e Vitara have seen hikes of up to Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively.
Among the Nexa range, the Baleno therefore records the highest increase at up to Rs 30,000.
What the Price Hike Means for Buyers
The latest revision could affect buyers who are planning to purchase a Maruti Suzuki car in August, particularly those considering variants that have received the largest increases.
The company had also announced a price increase earlier in June, making the August revision another upward adjustment within a short period.
Buyers should check the latest ex-showroom price of their preferred model and variant before booking. The final on-road cost will also depend on factors such as insurance, registration and other applicable charges.
The Maruti car prices revision does not affect every model or variant equally. Buyers can therefore compare the old and revised prices before making a purchase decision.
