People looking to buy a home in Delhi now have more time to make their decision.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the booking deadline for flats in its premium housing project, “DDA Towering Heights,” located in Karkardooma, East Delhi.
The booking period, which was earlier scheduled to end in March and later extended to May, will now remain open until June 30.
The move is expected to benefit both individual homebuyers and government institutions interested in purchasing flats.
Delhi’s Tallest Residential Building Under Construction
DDA Towering Heights is being promoted as one of the most ambitious residential projects in the capital.
The project is being developed under the supervision of the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC).
Once completed, the tower will have 48 floors and a height of around 155 meters.
According to DDA, it will be the tallest residential building in Delhi.
The project is also notable because it is the first housing development in the city being built under the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) policy, which focuses on improving connectivity and urban planning.
Premium Flats for HIG and MIG Buyers
The project offers premium-category apartments aimed at buyers in the High Income Group (HIG) and Middle Income Group (MIG) categories.
DDA will allot the flats after construction is completed and the units are officially offered for sale.
Interested buyers can apply through public advertisements issued by the authority.
Information related to pricing, eligibility, and booking conditions is available through DDA sales centers and authorized banks.
Who Can Apply for These Flats?
DDA has set certain eligibility conditions for applicants.
To apply, a person must:
Be an Indian citizen
Be at least 18 years old by the application deadline
Be legally eligible to purchase property in Delhi
Have a savings bank account in their name
Possess a valid PAN card
Applicants must ensure that all required documents are available before submitting their application.
Important Rule About Lost Allotment Documents
DDA has also outlined the procedure for people who lose their allotment documents.
In such cases, the applicant must submit a request to the Deputy Director of the concerned Housing Branch.
The application should include:
An affidavit
An indemnity bond
A copy of the FIR
A verified identity proof
A copy of the newspaper notice reporting the loss of documents
Only after completing these formalities can the matter be processed further.
More Time for Homebuyers
By extending the booking deadline to June 30, DDA aims to give more buyers an opportunity to secure a flat in this premium residential project.
With its prime location, modern design, and status as Delhi’s tallest residential tower, DDA Towering Heights is expected to attract strong interest from homebuyers looking for property in the national capital.
