The Indian government’s cybersecurity agency, CERT-In, has released an important alert for users of iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and other Apple devices.
This warning highlights dangerous security vulnerabilities that could allow hackers to gain full control of your device and steal personal information.
What Is the Risk and What Does CERT-In Recommend?
CERT-In has found several major security flaws in Apple’s operating systems.
These weaknesses can enable cybercriminals to remotely access your device, steal your data, and compromise your privacy.
Because of this, CERT-In strongly advises all Apple users to update their devices immediately.
The agency also stresses that users should install new software updates as soon as they are released and download apps only from the Apple App Store to avoid malware.
Important Updates You Must Install
Apple has rolled out multiple security updates to fix these vulnerabilities. CERT-In recommends upgrading to these versions right away:
iOS 26.1
iPadOS 26.1
macOS 15.1
watchOS 11.1
tvOS 18.1
VisionOS 2.1
Safari 17.6.1
Xcode 15.4
Apple says these updates not only fix security issues but also resolve other bugs to improve overall device performance.
Apple May Launch Its Cheapest MacBook Soon
In a separate development, reports suggest that Apple is planning to release its most affordable MacBook yet.
This new model may compete with Google Chromebooks and low-cost Windows laptops.
Rumors also indicate that Apple might use an iPhone-like chip to lower the price while still offering strong performance.
