Online shopping has become a part of daily life for millions of people. Whether it’s a smartphone, clothes, groceries, or other essentials, many customers now prefer shopping from home.

To make shopping even more convenient, Flipkart has introduced Flipkart Pay Later in partnership with PayU Finance.

The new service lets eligible customers buy products instantly and pay later instead of making the full payment upfront.

The feature will be available across Flipkart, Myntra, and Flipkart Minutes.

What is Flipkart Pay Later?

Flipkart Pay Later is a digital credit facility that allows eligible customers to purchase products first and pay later. Users can also choose from different repayment options based on their budget and convenience.

Payment options available

Customers can select from multiple payment methods, including:

Pay the full amount within 30 days.

Split the payment into 3 easy installments.

Choose EMIs from 3 to 12 months.

Shop immediately without paying the full amount upfront.

Benefits for customers

The new service offers several advantages:

Makes it easier to buy expensive products.

Reduces the burden of making a lump-sum payment.

Lets customers repay in flexible installments.

Helps manage monthly expenses more effectively.

Gives customers the option to pay later when needed.

Who is providing the credit?

The credit facility is being offered by PayU Finance, which is Flipkart’s initial lending partner for this service.

PayU Finance will review customer eligibility before approving credit. Flipkart also says more financial institutions may join the program in the future.

How is eligibility decided?

Not every customer will automatically receive Flipkart Pay Later. Eligibility will be based on factors such as:

Purchase history

Transaction records

Activity on Flipkart’s platform

Credit profile

Based on these details, the company will decide whether a customer qualifies for the service and the amount of credit they can receive.
