If you are looking for a smartphone that does not need frequent charging, POCO has launched a new option in India.
The company has introduced the POCO M8 Power, featuring a massive 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery.
POCO claims the battery can last for up to 3 days on a single full charge and has given the phone the tagline “Power Your Binge.”
The smartphone also comes with Android 16-based HyperOS 3, a 50MP AI camera, and a promise of 4 years of Android OS updates. The first sale of the phone will begin on August 7 at 12 noon on Flipkart.
POCO M8 Power Price and Availability
The POCO M8 Power has been launched in India in two storage variants.
6GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹24,999
8GB RAM + 128GB storage – ₹27,999
During the first sale, these variants will be available at ₹21,999 and ₹24,999, respectively.
The launch offer includes a ₹1,000 coupon valid for the first 12 hours of the sale, along with an instant bank discount or exchange bonus of ₹2,000.
Customers can also buy the phone with a 9-month no-cost EMI starting at ₹2,444 per month.
This special offer will be available only during the first 12 hours of the Flipkart sale, which starts at 12 noon on August 7. The phone will be available in Blaze Orange, Green, and Black color options.
POCO M8 Power Features and Specifications
The POCO M8 Power comes with a 6.83-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Eye-Care display with a 2396×1080 pixels resolution.
It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also includes TÜV Eye Protection, Wet Touch 2.0, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm process. It is paired with LPDDR4X RAM
and UFS 2.2 storage. Buyers can choose between 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants.
The phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. POCO has promised 4 Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates for the device.
Camera, Connectivity and Battery
For photography, the POCO M8 Power features a 50MP AI dual rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5P lens.
The camera supports AI-powered image processing for improved details.
On the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA), 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and an IR Blaster.
The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery. According to the company, it can provide up to 3 days of battery life with normal usage.
The phone supports 45W fast charging, and POCO claims that just 8 minutes of charging can provide enough power for around 8 hours of use.
The device also supports 22.5W reverse charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices when needed.
POCO is also including the 45W fast charger inside the box, so buyers do not need to purchase a charger separately.
