Google unveils AI Training Program for Early-Stage Startups in India

Tech giant Google has announced a two-week programme under its Google for Startups India initiative to help early-stage founders, startup teams, and aspiring entrepreneurs build AI-powered prototypes using Google’s advanced AI tools.

The program aims to turn ideas into real, working AI solutions — fast.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in using Google’s cutting-edge technologies to design, test, and deploy their own AI-first products.

What the Programme Offers

Running from November 27 to December 7, 2025, the training will guide participants through every stage of building an AI product — from ideation to launch.

Founders will get access to Google’s latest tools, including Gemini, Nano Banana, Imagen, Veo, NotebookLM, and AI Studio, helping them learn how to research, design, and deploy AI-powered solutions.

Empowering India’s AI Entrepreneurs

Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups India, said,

“Our goal is to make the power of AI accessible to every founder, breaking traditional coding barriers. With Google’s full-stack AI tools, entrepreneurs can move from concept to creation faster and with more confidence.”

The initiative is supported by MeitY Startup Hub, Startup India, IndiaAI Mission, and NASSCOM, reflecting the government’s vision of Digital India and Viksit Bharat.

According to Panneerselvam Madanagopal, CEO of MeitY Startup Hub, this collaboration will empower founders across India to build globally competitive, AI-driven solutions for social and economic growth.

India’s AI Ecosystem Is Booming

Earlier in September, Google also launched its free three-month AI Accelerator Program, selecting 20 startups from over 1,600 applicants to scale AI-based innovations across healthcare, finance, climate, and education.

With India’s generative AI ecosystem growing 3.7 times in the past year, the country has now become the second-largest GenAI startup hub in the world.
