A professional from Delhi recently got his U.S. B1 business visa approved in just 60 seconds, even though he saw many rejections at the U.S.
Embassy in Delhi. What made his case different? A clear application, confidence during the interview, and strong support from his employer.
Quick Approval Despite High Rejection Rate
This visa was granted for business travel in July 2025. His application process was fast and smooth. He submitted the DS-160 form and booked his visa appointment on June 22.
Biometrics were done at the Delhi Visa Application Centre on June 24. The interview was held on July 15, and the visa-stamped passport was delivered by July 18 — completing the entire process in under a month.
His company urgently needed him in the U.S. for key meetings and business planning.
Knowing the usual wait time for a U.S. visa can be over 500 days, he worked with a trusted visa agent to get an expedited appointment. Within a day of requesting it, he got an interview date.
He warned others to be careful when choosing visa agents and to ensure the process is legal. In his case, everything was properly documented and supported by his employer.
More Than 50 Rejections, but He Got Through
On the day of the interview, he saw over 50 applicants — mostly first-timers — getting rejected outside the embassy. This made him nervous, but he remained calm and confident.
His visa interview lasted less than one minute. He was asked just four questions:
What is the purpose of your visit?
What is your company’s name?
How long have you been working there?
Have you traveled abroad before?
Surprisingly, no documents were asked for during the interview.
His Advice for Applicants
He says the key to success is being honest and to the point. According to him, visa officers prefer simple, clear answers instead of memorized ones.
He also advised applicants not to lose hope after seeing others get rejected, saying, “Every case is different — focus on your own facts.”
His story shows that even in difficult times, getting a U.S. visa is possible with a clear purpose, honest answers, and the right approach.
