Hyderabad Weather Update: Hyderabad woke up on Friday to nonstop heavy rain that brought the city to a standstill.
Several areas were flooded, traffic was badly affected, and water entered homes and commercial buildings. This downpour marked one of the strongest spells of the monsoon so far.

As the rain continued through the day, key roads and colonies were submerged. Low-lying areas quickly filled with water, and many apartment cellars and shops were flooded.
Pedestrians were seen wading through knee- to waist-deep water, while two-wheelers and cars struggled or stalled on flooded roads.
In areas like Gayatrinagar (Ameerpet) and Bhavaninagar (Nacharam), homes were waterlogged, and autos were seen being swept away by overflowing drains.

Travel to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was also affected. IndiGo issued an advisory, warning that access roads to the airport are waterlogged and may cause delays. Passengers are advised to:
