British automaker Royal Enfield has made a strong impact in the automotive world with the launch of two new bikes: the Bear 650 in India and the Classic 650 in the global market.
Additionally, Royal Enfield offered a glimpse of its first electric bike, signaling exciting plans for the future.
While the Bear 650 is now available for Indian customers, the Classic 650 may also soon make its way to India.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 Features and Specifications
The Royal Enfield Bear 650, based on the Interceptor 650 model, comes to India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 3.39 lakh.
This bike is powered by a 650 cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 47 bhp and 57 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth shifting.
The Bear 650 has 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch spoke wheels at the rear.
It features a single pod console with a TFT setup and is available in five color options: Broadwalk White, Petrol Green, White Honey, Golden Shadow, and Two-Four Nine.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 – A Global Launch
Royal Enfield also introduced the Classic 650, its sixth addition to the 650 cc range after models like the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, and Bear 650.
This bike houses a 648 cc air/oil-cooled parallel twin engine, producing 47 hp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,650 rpm. It also boasts a 14.8-liter fuel tank.
The Classic 650 is available in four colors: Teal, Vallam Red, Black Chrome, and Bruntingthorpe Blue.
While its price has been announced in markets like the UK, Italy, France, Spain, and Germany, Indian bookings a
nd test rides for the Classic 650 will begin in January 2025, with prices expected to start from Rs 3 lakh.
