Nissan has officially launched its much-awaited mid-size SUV, the Nissan Tekton, in India.
Positioned above the Magnite, the new SUV comes with powerful turbo-petrol engines, advanced technology, premium comfort features, and a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.
The Nissan Tekton starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹10.49 lakh. Bookings are now open across the country with a token amount of ₹21,000.

Two Turbo-Petrol Engine Options
The Nissan Tekton is built on the new CMF-B platform and comes with two turbo-petrol engine choices.
The T160 engine produces 100bhp and 166Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and offers a claimed mileage of 19.4 kmpl.
The more powerful T280 engine delivers 163bhp and 280Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed wet dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox.
The manual version delivers a claimed mileage of 17.8 kmpl, while the DCT version offers 18.5 kmpl. The automatic model also gets paddle shifters and multiple steering modes for a more engaging driving experience.
5-Star Safety with Advanced Features
Safety is one of the biggest highlights of the Nissan Tekton. The SUV has earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.
It comes with six airbags as standard across all variants. Other important safety features include ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front disc brakes, rollover sensor, and pedestrian protection. Overall, the SUV offers more than 20 safety features.
Premium Cabin with Google Built-in and Gemini AI
Inside, the Nissan Tekton offers a modern and feature-rich cabin.
It comes with a dual-screen setup powered by Google Built-in, allowing users to access Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Play Store without connecting a smartphone. The infotainment system also supports Gemini AI.
Other comfort features include ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, and a 700-litre boot, making it practical for long trips and family travel.
