The Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been one of India’s most popular motorcycles for years. A big reason behind its success is Bajaj’s ability to keep the bike updated while maintaining its iconic identity.
Since the launch of the Pulsar 220 DTS-FI in July 2007, the motorcycle’s overall design has remained largely unchanged.
It continued with the same fairing, headlamp setup, clip-on handlebars, muscular exhaust, and sporty styling that made it famous.
Now, Bajaj has finally given the Pulsar 220F a fresh look with a new LED headlight setup and a redesigned front profile.
New LED Headlight Brings a Fresh Look
The updated 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at ₹1.36 lakh (ex-showroom). For comparison, the bike was relaunched in December 2025 at ₹1.28 lakh, making the latest version around ₹8,000 more expensive.
The biggest highlight of the update is the all-new full LED headlight with an auto-on feature.
While Bajaj had already introduced LED turn indicators in the December 2025 update, the June 2026 facelift focuses mainly on the headlight design.
This marks the first major visual change to the Pulsar 220F in almost two decades.
What Has Changed?
The previous model featured two separate vertical units for low and high beams. In the new version, both functions are integrated into a single projector unit positioned at the bottom of the headlight cluster.
The daytime running lights (DRLs) have also been redesigned and now feature an eyebrow-style LED pattern, giving the motorcycle a sharper and more modern appearance.
Apart from the updated headlight setup and revised pricing, the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged.
The available color options are:
Black Gold
Black Cherry Red
Black Ink Blue
Black Copper Beige
Interestingly, the Green Light Copper color introduced in December 2025 has now been removed from the lineup.
Features Remain the Same
The Pulsar 220F continues to offer the same feature list as before. Key highlights include:
Clip-on handlebars
Digital instrument cluster
Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity
Call and notification alerts
Turn-by-turn navigation
Single-channel ABS
Dual-disc brakes
Split-seat setup
Fairing-mounted ORVMs
LED tail lamp
Nitrox twin rear shock absorbers
Illuminated switchgear
Engine and Performance Unchanged
While the motorcycle gets a fresh front-end design, Bajaj has not made any changes to its mechanical package.
This means Pulsar fans will continue to get the same tried-and-tested performance that has made the 220F one of the most recognizable motorcycles on Indian roads.
With the addition of modern LED lighting and a refreshed face, the 2026 Pulsar 220F aims to keep its legendary appeal alive for a new generation of riders.
