The Maruti S-Presso is the cheapest car in Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio and one of the most affordable hatchbacks in India. Its starting price remains unchanged at ₹3.50 lakh despite a price increase on several variants.
The company has increased the prices of select S-Presso variants by ₹2,500. The entry-level STD (O) variant has not received a hike and continues to cost ₹3.50 lakh ex-showroom.
Maruti S-Presso Price and Variants
The Maruti S-Presso is available in a total of eight variants. While the STD (O) remains at ₹3.50 lakh, variants from the LXi (O) MT to the VXi+ (O) AT have become ₹2,500 more expensive.
After the price revision, the S-Presso range now starts at ₹3.50 lakh and goes up to ₹5.27 lakh ex-showroom.
The S-Presso is known for its affordable price, comfortable long-travel suspension and small 4.5-metre turning radius.
The top-spec version gets features such as manual AC controls, a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and power windows.
Maruti S-Presso Engine and Mileage
The Maruti S-Presso comes with a 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 68PS of power and 89Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is offered as standard, while a 5-speed AMT is also available.
The same engine is also offered with a CNG option. In CNG mode, it produces 56.69PS of power and 82.1Nm of torque. The CNG version is available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The petrol manual variant offers a claimed mileage of up to 24kmpl, while the other petrol variant is listed with mileage of 24.76kmpl. The CNG version offers a claimed mileage of 32.73km/kg.
Maruti S-Presso Features and Safety
The S-Presso gets a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, front power windows and keyless entry.
Other features include an electronic stability program, hill hold assist, electrically adjustable ORVMs and a cabin air filter.
For safety, the car currently comes with dual airbags. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to update the S-Presso with six airbags as standard.
