Vivo has introduced a new phone in its V series in India, which will replace the earlier V30 series from the start of the year.
The new series features 50MP cameras on all models.
In addition, this series features a powerful battery and processor.
The Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro have nearly identical designs, though there are minor differences in their hardware features.
Vivo V40 Series Price
The Vivo V40 is available in three storage variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 512GB.
The base model is priced at Rs 34,999, while the other two variants cost Rs 36,999 and Rs 41,999, respectively.
The phone comes in Ganges Blue and Titanium Gray color options.
The Vivo V40 Pro comes in two storage options: 8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB.
The base model is priced at Rs 49,999, while the top model costs Rs 55,999.
This phone is available in Ganges Blue and Titanium Gray. Pre-booking for both Vivo phones has begun, and they will go on sale on August 19.
Both phones can be bought from Flipkart, as well as from the company’s official online and offline stores.

Features of Vivo V40 Series
The Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro both feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. They use a 3D curved AMOLED screen.
The display of these phones supports peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Both the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Pro model of this series features a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, while the standard model uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
Both phones support up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
They come with a 5,500mAh battery and 80W USB Type-C fast charging. Both models run on FuntouchOS based on Android 14.
The Vivo V40 features a dual camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
The phone also features a 50MP wide-angle camera on the back and a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo V40 Pro features a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto portrait camera.
It also includes a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
