Samsung has officially launched the new Galaxy A27 5G smartphone in global markets, and the device is also set to arrive in India soon.
The latest addition to Samsung’s popular Galaxy A series comes with a large AMOLED display, a powerful Snapdragon processor, AI features, and a promise of six years of software support.
The Galaxy A27 5G succeeds last year’s Galaxy A26 5G and targets users looking for a premium experience in the mid-range smartphone segment.
Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G has been launched in the US at a starting price of $349.99, which is roughly around Rs. 30,000. The smartphone will go on sale in the US from July 14.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A27 5G will be available in India starting July 3. However, the company has not yet announced the official India pricing.
The smartphone will be available in four color options — Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink.
Large AMOLED Display and Powerful Processor
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a smoother viewing and gaming experience.
Powering the smartphone is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, built on a 4nm architecture.
The device comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Users can also expand the storage up to 2TB using a microSD card.
Samsung has also promised six generations of Android and One UI updates, along with six years of security updates, making it one of the longest-supported phones in its segment.
50MP Camera and 5,000mAh Battery
For photography, the Galaxy A27 5G features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor.
On the front, the smartphone offers a 12MP selfie camera for photos and video calls.
The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and includes Samsung Knox Vault security for better data protection.
AI Features and Smart Assistants
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A27 5G with several AI-powered features. These include Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription.
The smartphone also supports multiple AI assistants, including Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Samsung’s own Bixby assistant, giving users more options for AI-powered tasks and assistance.
The Galaxy A27 5G measures 162.4×78.2×7.8mm and weighs 200 grams, making it a feature-packed option in the mid-range smartphone market.
