Recent Bomb Threat Incidents in Delhi

Bomb threats have become a cause for concern in Delhi, with various institutions being targeted recently. Schools, hospitals, and airports have all received threats via email.

Notably, Indira Gandhi International Airport and several government hospitals in the capital were among the targets. However, thorough searches conducted by the Delhi police revealed no evidence of any actual threat.

Recent targets included hospitals such as Dada Dev Hospital, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Hindu Rao Hospital, and Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital. Following the receipt of bomb threat emails, rigorous search operations were initiated at these locations.

On May 1, over 100 schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threats via email. The Delhi Police reported that a total of 131 schools were targeted on that day. However, subsequent investigations by the Ministry of Home Affairs deemed these threats to be ‘hoaxes.’
