Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s leading car manufacturer, has recently launched its new compact SUV called Fronx.
Priced between Rs. 7.46 lakh and Rs. 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Maruti Suzuki Fronx offers a range of features and engine options. Let’s take a closer look at its key highlights.
Key Features of Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The cabin of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx comes equipped with connected car technology, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, and a 9-inch HD Smartplay Pro-Plus infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
In terms of safety, it offers six airbags, 3-point ELR seatbelts, hill hold assist with ESP, roll-over mitigation, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors with brake assist.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Engine Options
Maruti Suzuki has provided two engine options for the Fronx. The first is a 1.0-litre K-Series Turbo Boosterjet engine with Smart Hybrid technology, available with both 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
The second engine option is a 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet Dual VVT engine with Idle Start-Stop technology, offered with a 5-speed manual and AGS transmission.

Global Unveiling at Auto Expo
Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Fronx globally at the Auto Expo 2023 held in Delhi.
Hisashi Takeuchi, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MSI, expressed pride in the company’s ability to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Takeuchi acknowledged the success of the Brezza and noted that with the growing preference for SUVs,
the introduction of the Fronx is part of their vision to foster the growth of this segment.

Maruti launched Fronx on compact SUV segment. This segment is mainly dominated by Tata Motors’ Punch and Renault’s Kiger. Nissan’s Magnite also falls in this Range. This step from Maruti Suzuki will not only help boost their sales but also contribute heavily on their yearly revenue.
