Porsche, the renowned luxury car manufacturer, has introduced the facelifted versions of its popular models, the Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe, in India.
The updated models come with a range of changes, including some exciting new features added to the interior.
Exterior Enhancements
The refreshed design of these luxury cars brings notable changes to the front fascia, highlighted by the inclusion of new LED matrix headlights.
The rear has also undergone modifications, with the number plate relocated from the tailgate to the rear bumper.
Additionally, the tailgate’s connected lights have been tweaked, and the iconic Porsche badge now occupies the center position.
Interior Upgrades
The most significant transformation can be witnessed inside the cabin, where triple screens have been incorporated into the dashboard.
This includes a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system, and an optional 10.9-inch touch screen for the passengers’ convenience.
Engine Performance
Under the hood, the new Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe facelift models are equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine.
This powerful engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, delivering an impressive output of 353 horsepower and a peak torque of 500 Newton meters.
It remains to be seen if a hybrid option with an electric motor will be offered in the future.
Pricing and Competition
Porsche has priced the 2023 Cayenne at Rs 1.36 crore, while the Cayenne Coupe facelift starts at Rs 1.42 crore (ex-showroom).
These luxury vehicles will face competition from other esteemed brands, including the Range Rover Sport, Audi Q8, and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
