EAAA India Alternatives IPO opens for subscription on October 26, 2026, giving investors an opportunity to participate in a ₹1,200 crore public offering by the Edelweiss Group’s alternative investment management business.
The issue will remain open until October 28, with the price band fixed at ₹1,585 to ₹1,665 per share
The IPO is attracting attention because of the company’s presence in India’s alternative investment market, its financial performance and the valuation at which its shares are being offered.
Investors considering the issue should understand its structure, minimum investment requirement and business risks before applying.
EAAA India Alternatives IPO Opens With ₹1,200 Crore Issue
The public issue is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) of approximately 72.07 lakh equity shares by Edelweiss Securities and Investments Private Limited, the selling shareholder.
There is no fresh issue component, which means EAAA India Alternatives will not receive the IPO proceeds.
The money raised through the share sale, after applicable expenses, will go to the selling shareholder.
The IPO is scheduled to close on October 28, 2026. The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on October 29, while the shares are tentatively scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on November 2, 2026.
These dates may be subject to changes announced through official channels.
The company has fixed the face value at ₹5 per equity share. Its price band ranges from ₹1,585 to ₹1,665, placing the upper end of the offer at more than 300 times the face value.
EAAA India Alternatives IPO Price Band and Minimum Investment
Investors can bid for a minimum of nine shares and in multiples of nine thereafter.
At the upper price band of ₹1,665, the minimum application amount works out to ₹14,985, making this an important consideration for retail investors planning their IPO applications.
The issue has reserved portions for different investor categories.
Qualified institutional buyers can receive up to 50% of the net offer, non-institutional investors have a minimum allocation of 15%, and retail individual investors have a minimum allocation of 35%, subject to the applicable issue terms.
Before applying, investors should review the final offer documents for the issue structure, application limits, reservation details and other conditions.
The actual allotment will depend on demand in each category and the final allocation process.
The company also raised ₹360 crore from anchor investors before the public issue opened. It allotted 21,62,161 equity shares to these investors at ₹1,665 per share, the upper end of the price band.
Company Financial Performance and Business Operations
EAAA India Alternatives operates in India’s alternative investment management sector, focusing on real assets and private credit.
Its services cater to institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, family offices and other clients seeking investment opportunities beyond conventional asset classes.
For the financial year 2025-26, the company reported total income of approximately ₹964 crore, up 23% from ₹787 crore in the previous financial year.
Profit after tax increased by 15% to ₹265 crore from around ₹230 crore in FY25.
As of June 30, 2026, the company managed assets worth approximately ₹95,345 crore.
Its fee-paying assets under management stood at around ₹48,623 crore, reflecting the scale of its investment management operations.
These figures provide investors with a snapshot of the company’s business scale and recent financial performance.
However, past growth does not guarantee future profitability, and investors should examine the company’s financial statements, revenue sources and risk disclosures before making a decision.
What Investors Should Know Before Applying
The IPO’s valuation is another factor that prospective investors may wish to assess.
Based on diluted earnings per share for FY26, the issue is priced at a price-to-earnings multiple of approximately 39.27 times at the lower end and 41.25 times at the upper end of the price band.
Investors should compare this valuation with the company’s growth prospects, financial performance and relevant industry peers.
The alternative investment management sector can also be affected by market conditions, investment performance, fundraising trends and changes in the value of underlying assets.
The issue being an OFS is particularly important because the company will not receive fresh capital from the public offering for expansion or debt repayment.
Instead, the transaction allows the existing shareholder to sell part of its holding.
Investors should also avoid relying solely on grey market premium figures when evaluating the IPO.
Such figures are unofficial, can fluctuate significantly and do not guarantee the price at which a stock will list.
The EAAA India Alternatives IPO will remain open until October 28.
Investors should read the offer documents carefully, assess their financial goals and risk tolerance, and verify the final issue details before submitting an application.
