The month of July 2026 is about to begin, and if you have any important banking work pending, it’s a good idea to check the holiday calendar first.
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days in July, including weekly holidays and festival-related closures.
However, there is some relief for customers. Most of the festival holidays are state-specific, which means banks will remain closed only in the states where the festivals are being observed.
There is no single festival holiday in July when banks across the entire country will remain closed.
