State-owned telecom company BSNL has introduced a new limited-time prepaid offer for users planning to switch networks or try BSNL services for the first time.
The company has launched a special Rs 51 prepaid recharge called the “Smart Start Plan.”
Along with the plan benefits, users will also get a free BSNL SIM card.
However, there is one important condition — this offer is only available for new customers.
What You Get in the Rs 51 BSNL Plan
Despite the low price, BSNL is offering several benefits with this recharge pack.
According to reports, the Rs 51 Smart Start Plan includes:
Unlimited voice calling
2GB high-speed data per day
100 free SMS daily
28 days validity
The plan is designed for users who want affordable mobile services without spending too much upfront.
Free SIM Card Included
One of the biggest highlights of this offer is that customers will receive a BSNL SIM card completely free.
Users can collect the SIM from nearby BSNL customer service centres or authorized retailers.
This makes the offer even more attractive for people looking to test BSNL’s network before making a permanent switch.
Offer Available for a Limited Time
BSNL has confirmed that the special recharge offer is valid only for a short duration.
The offer started on May 22, 2026, and will remain available until June 30, 2026.
Existing BSNL users cannot use this recharge plan. Only new prepaid customers are eligible for the benefits.
That means new users can get unlimited calling, daily data, SMS benefits, and a free SIM for just Rs 51.
BSNL May Launch More Affordable Plans Soon
This is not the first time BSNL has introduced ultra-low-cost offers for new users.
Earlier, the company had also launched a Re 1 First Recharge Coupon (FRC) for customers buying a new SIM card.
That offer was available for a limited period and received attention because of its extremely low price.
Reports suggest BSNL may continue introducing similar affordable plans in the future to attract more subscribers.
At the same time, the telecom company is also expanding and improving its 4G network services across India to compete with private telecom operators.
