Reliance Jio has introduced a new entertainment pack for users who spend a lot of time watching OTT content during summer vacations.
The company has launched a Rs 200 OTT Pass that offers access to 15 streaming platforms, more than 1,000 live TV channels, and additional mobile data benefits.
Jio says the pass comes with a validity of 28 days and also includes unlimited 5G access for eligible users.
Which OTT Platforms Are Included?
Jio claims the new OTT Pass gives users access to some of the most popular streaming services in India.
The pack includes subscriptions to:
YouTube Premium
JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood
Prime Video Mobile Edition
Along with these, users can also access several other OTT platforms through JioTV, including:
SonyLiv
ZEE5
Lionsgate Play
Discovery+
Sun NXT
FanCode
Hoichoi
Chaupal
TimesPlay
Tarang Plus
Planet Marathi
Kanccha Lannka
This makes the pass attractive for users who enjoy movies, web series, sports, and regional content.
More Than 1,000 Live TV Channels Included
Apart from OTT apps, Jio is also offering access to over 1,000 live TV channels.
According to the company, users will be able to watch entertainment, sports, movies, and regional channels from networks such as:
Star
Sony
Sun TV
Discovery
Jio says the recharge has been designed for users who want internet data, OTT streaming, and live TV in a single plan.
Data Benefits and Validity
The Rs 200 OTT Pass also comes with:
30GB additional data
28 days validity
Unlimited 5G access for eligible users
However, users should note that this is not a standalone recharge plan.
Customers must already have an active Jio base plan with validity and regular data benefits before activating this OTT pass.
How to Activate the Jio OTT Pass
Users can activate the Rs 200 OTT Pass through:
MyJio app
Jio.com
Retail stores
Other recharge platforms
Once activated, users can start accessing OTT apps and live TV directly on their smartphones.
Is the Jio OTT Pass Worth Buying?
Jio’s new OTT Pass offers strong value for entertainment lovers, especially those who watch multiple streaming platforms regularly.
The inclusion of YouTube Premium, Prime Video Mobile Edition, SonyLiv, and ZEE5 makes the pack attractive for many users.
However, there is one major omission — Netflix is not included in the plan.
So, if Netflix is your primary streaming platform, this recharge may not be ideal for you.
But for users looking for affordable access to multiple OTT apps, live TV channels, and extra data during the holiday season, the Rs 200 pass could be a cost-effective option.
