Banks will be closed for about 13 days in August, including big festivals like Rakshabandhan, Independence Day, and Janmashtami.
Besides this, banks will also remain closed on every Sunday and the second and fourth Saturdays. However, online services like net banking and UPI will still work as usual.

How to Manage Banking During These Holidays
Don’t worry if the banks are closed on these days. Digital banking services like UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, and ATMs will continue to work smoothly.
You can transfer money, pay bills, check balances, and do recharges using these services. Cash withdrawals and mini statements will also be available at ATMs without any interruption.
