Several companies are quickly entering India’s electric two-wheeler market. One of these companies is ZELO Electric. The company has now introduced a new limited-edition version of its flagship electric scooter called the Knight+ Rani Edition.
This special edition scooter comes only in baby pink colour and the company has limited its production to just 999 units across India.
Bookings are currently open through the company’s authorized dealer network. The scooter was launched on International Women’s Day.
The ex-showroom price is ₹69,990, which is the same price as the standard Knight+ model.
Battery, Range and Performance
The Rani Edition keeps the same features and specifications as the standard Knight+ scooter. The only difference is its special colour and finish.
This scooter is built on the Knight+ platform, which was originally launched in August 2025.
It is powered by a 1.8 kWh portable lithium iron phosphate battery that provides a claimed range of up to 100 km on a single charge.
The scooter comes with a 1.5 kW electric motor and can reach a top speed of 55 km/h. One of its key highlights is the removable battery, allowing riders to take it out and charge it anywhere conveniently.

These features make riding easier and more comfortable. For example, Hill Hold Control is very helpful when the scooter stops on an uphill road during traffic.
Meanwhile, using Cruise Control can also help improve the scooter’s range.
Designed to Celebrate Confidence
According to Mukund Baheti, co-founder of ZELO Electric, the colour of the scooter was chosen because of the cultural meaning of the word “queen” in India.
The Rani Edition is meant to represent confidence, identity, and independent decision-making.
The company also said that this launch is part of a larger goal to encourage more women to participate in two-wheeler mobility. However, the scooter is available for all riders, not just women.

ZELO Electric operates under SLSR Electro Pvt Ltd, which is a subsidiary of SLSR Electro. Over the last four years, the company has expanded its dealership network across India.
Customers can book the Knight+ Rani Edition through the company’s official website and dealer network. Currently, ZELO Electric’s portfolio includes five different electric scooter models.
