YouTube has announced several new and exciting features for its creators at the Made on YouTube 2025 event.
These updates are designed to make content creation faster, easier, and more profitable. Let’s look at the key features.
Veo 3 Fast – AI Video Generation
YouTube has integrated Veo 3 Fast, a custom version of Google DeepMind’s video generation model, directly into YouTube Shorts.
Creators can simply type a text prompt, and the tool will generate a video clip with sound automatically.
This feature will be completely free.
It will first roll out in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Edit with AI – Smarter Video Editing
To simplify editing, YouTube introduced the Edit with AI tool.
It can automatically pick and arrange the best parts of raw footage.
The tool also adds music, transitions, and even voice-overs.
Currently, it is being tested in the YouTube Create app and Shorts, available in English and Hindi.
All AI-generated content will be watermarked and labeled with SynthID to ensure transparency.
Ask Studio – AI Creative Partner
YouTube also launched Ask Studio, an AI-powered chat tool that acts like a creative assistant.
Creators can ask questions about video performance, editing style, or community discussions.
It provides insights based on each creator’s channel data, helping them improve their content and engagement.
