Yamaha RayZR Street Rally Updated with New Features

Yamaha India has launched the updated version of the RayZR Street Rally. The scooter now comes with several new features and a refreshed design.

Its ex-showroom price is set at Rs 98,130, which is around Rs 2,000 more than the previous version.

One of the major upgrades is the addition of a new LED daytime running light (DRL) placed above the number plate holder.

In the Indian market, the Yamaha RayZR competes with models like the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125, and Suzuki Avensis 125.

New Features and Design Updates

The updated RayZR Street Rally also includes an ‘Answer Back’ feature. This helps riders locate their scooter in crowded places by flashing indicators and emitting a beeping sound.

This feature is accessible via the Y-Connect app on a smartphone. Additionally, the RayZR 125 Fi is available in a new paint scheme called Cyber Green.

Engine and Performance

Mechanically, there are no changes to the scooter. It continues to be powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.2 hp at 6,500 rpm

and 10.3 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, with hybrid power assist. The suspension setup includes a telescopic fork in the front and a monoshock at the rear.

Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum, along with Unified Braking System (UBS) for added safety.
