Xiaomi recently launched two new smartphones in India — the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Now, the company is preparing to introduce another smartphone called the Xiaomi 17T.
According to reports, this new phone may arrive in the Indian market in the coming months. Tipster Abhishek Yadav said that the device could launch in India around late April or May 2026.
So far, the company has not officially confirmed the phone’s features or specifications.
Meanwhile, tipster Debayan Roy has also shared details about the possible launch timeline and expected pricing, which has increased excitement among smartphone users.
Expected Price and Launch Details
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 17T could launch in India within the next two to three months. Its expected price is around ₹55,000.
This price may include special launch offers that Xiaomi usually provides during the initial sale period.
Reports also suggest that the phone may debut globally alongside the Xiaomi 17T Pro, a more premium version of the device.
However, some sources say that only the Xiaomi 17T may be launched in India, while the Pro model might not arrive in the country.
Camera Setup and Photography Features
Both the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro are expected to come with Leica-tuned cameras, which could improve photo quality.
The phones may feature a triple rear camera setup that includes:
a 50MP primary camera,
a 12MP secondary camera, and
a 50MP telephoto camera.
However, the primary and telephoto sensors could be different between the two models. The Pro version may also include a periscope telephoto lens for better zoom capabilities.
For selfies and video calls, both phones are expected to offer a 32MP front camera.
Processor, Battery and Other Features
The Xiaomi 17T is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. It may be powered by a 6500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17T Pro could feature the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.
Reports also suggest that the Pro model might be based on the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra, which is expected to launch in China in April. If this happens, the device could include:
a 6.8-inch OLED display
1.5K resolution
165Hz refresh rate
a large 8500mAh battery with 100W charging support
a built-in cooling fan
and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Overall, the upcoming Xiaomi 17T series could bring powerful performance, strong battery life, and advanced camera features to the smartphone market. ????
