Xiaomi has launched a new ultrathin magnetic power bank. This slim power bank supports wireless charging and comes with a 5000mAh battery.
It is currently available in Malaysia and Thailand. Earlier, Xiaomi had already released this product in Japan, followed by Australia, Singapore, and South Korea. The company is expected to launch it in more countries soon.
Features of Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank
The Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank has a 5000mAh battery capacity. It is only 6mm thick, which makes it very slim and easy to carry. The power bank weighs just 98 grams.
According to Xiaomi, it supports 15W wireless charging. For iPhone users, it provides 7.5W wireless charging. The USB-C port supports up to 22.5W wired charging.
Xiaomi also says the power bank can charge two devices at the same time. It is compatible with Apple, Xiaomi, Samsung, and Google Pixel smartphones.
Battery and Safety
Xiaomi states that this ultrathin magnetic power bank includes 10 layers of protection. These safety layers help prevent overheating and short circuits.
It uses a smartphone-grade lithium-ion battery. The outer body of the power bank is made from aluminum alloy, which makes it fire-resistant.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank has been launched in Thailand at a starting price of THB 2,490 (about ₹1,000).
In Malaysia, it is available at a starting price of MYR 369 (about ₹1,000).
