Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has launched a new feature that offers users a unique reward for viral posts.
Elon Musk announced this feature, called Certified Bangers, which will highlight the most popular posts on the platform. Users whose posts qualify will receive a special badge.
Once a post earns this badge, the creator’s profile will be showcased on X for an entire month.
So now, going viral can bring you more than likes and followers — it can get you an official recognition from the platform.
How Will Users Receive the Badge?
According to X, the badge will only be given to posts that make people laugh, think, or discuss. In short, the post must have a meaningful impact.
Content that increases engagement and sparks conversation will be considered for the Certified Bangers badge.
However, the most important rule is that the post must be 100% original. Copied or reused content will not qualify.
X will examine several engagement metrics such as verified impressions, likes, bookmarks, reposts, and replies to decide whether a post deserves the badge.
Only Five Posts Will Be Selected Each Month
Elon Musk’s team has clarified that only five posts per month will receive this special badge.
This means the competition will be tough, and your content must stand out on its own to go viral.
Once awarded, the badge will stay visible on your profile for one month, helping boost your presence on X.
This feature is currently being tested and will soon roll out to all users.
