IT services company Wipro Limited has announced a final dividend of ₹6 per share for its shareholders, following an impressive performance in the first quarter of FY26.
The record date for this dividend is July 28, 2025, and the payout will be made on or before August 15, 2025, as per the company’s exchange filing.
Wipro has declared a 250% final dividend—₹5 on each share with a face value of ₹2. Investors are pleased with this announcement.
Despite this positive news, Wipro’s stock closed slightly lower by 0.7% at ₹260 per share on Thursday.
Strong Profit Growth in Q1 FY26
Wipro reported a 9.87% increase in its consolidated net profit for the April–June quarter of FY26, reaching ₹3,336.5 crore. In comparison, the net profit for the same quarter last year was ₹3,036.6 crore.
The company’s operational revenue also saw a slight rise, growing 0.78% to ₹22,134.6 crore from ₹21,963.8 crore in Q1 of FY25.
CEO and Managing Director Srini Palliya said that despite macroeconomic challenges, clients focused on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Wipro supported them in meeting those goals, securing 16 major deals, including two large-scale ones.
He added that with a strong deal pipeline continuing into the next quarter, the company expects solid performance in the second half of the financial year as well.
