Why the Consumption Theme is Important

India’s domestic consumption is supported by long-term structural factors such as:

Population growth

Rising disposable income

Urbanization

Increasing digital access

Greater availability of credit

According to the fund house, government initiatives in manufacturing and infrastructure, along with rising foreign direct investment, are expected to support consumption-led economic growth in the long run.

The growth of domestic consumption in India is driven by structural changes rather than short-term trends.

Rising incomes, formalization of the economy, and changing consumer preferences are creating new opportunities in consumption-related sectors.

The Whiteoak Capital Consumption Opportunities Fund aims to help investors participate in this long-term theme through a disciplined and research-based investment approach.

The Nifty India Consumption Index reflects the performance of companies linked to domestic consumption across various sectors and is considered suitable for evaluating the fund’s performance in line with its objective.

Who Should Invest in This Fund

This fund is suitable for investors who want long-term capital growth and are willing to invest mainly in equity and equity-related instruments of companies involved in consumption and related sectors.

It is also suitable for investors who want to benefit from opportunities created by rising domestic consumption in India.
