How Will This Feature Work?

This new feature was first spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android (version 2.23.24.15). Now, the company is also working to bring it to WhatsApp Web beta.

The feature will display the number of viewers inside a message bubble, giving channel owners insights into audience engagement and update performance.

Interestingly, it will count views not just from followers but also from users who have searched for the channel without following it.
