Weather changes Expected across North India

The weather in North India is set to change once again.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), two western disturbances will remain active from January 31 to February 3.

Because of this, light to moderate rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh on February 1.

Light rain may also occur in parts of northwest and central India.

Some areas of Rajasthan could experience hailstorms today.

Temperature Fluctuations Ahead

Temperatures in northwest India are likely to rise by 3–5°C, followed by a drop of 2–4°C in the coming days.

In Maharashtra, temperatures may increase by 2–3°C over the next two days.

Delhi Weather Forecast

Delhi will start the day with cool weather and partly cloudy skies.

Light fog is expected during the morning hours.

The afternoon may remain mostly clear, but rain with thunderstorms and strong winds is possible by evening or night.

The maximum temperature will range between 20–22°C, while the minimum temperature may stay between 6–8°C.

Uttar Pradesh: Rain, Fog, and Strong Winds

Weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh are also changing.

Rain and fog are expected to affect several districts.

Dark clouds will begin covering many areas from February 1.

Maximum temperatures are likely to remain stable for the next two days before rising slightly.

In eastern Uttar Pradesh, dense fog with visibility between 100 and 500 meters is expected today.

On February 1, strong winds of 30–40 km/h may blow across many western districts.

The sky is expected to remain cloudy on February 2.

Districts Likely to See Fog

Fog is expected today in districts like Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, and Bahraich, along with nearby areas.

Many other districts, including Moradabad, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Jhansi, and Mathura, are likely to see clear skies.

Bihar Weather Remains Dry

Bihar experienced dry weather over the last 24 hours.

The highest temperature of 26.6°C was recorded in Supaul, while the lowest temperature of 10.0°C was recorded in Sabour, Bhagalpur.

The Meteorological Department reported a 2–3°C drop in maximum temperatures in western and south-central Bihar.

Other regions did not see major changes.
