VI has recently introduced a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 1, which is quite unique. This plan allows customers to make calls but does not include any data or validity benefits.
It’s designed to keep users connected without offering additional perks.

Voda Plan Rs.1
The Rs 1 plan from Vodafone Idea comes with a validity of just one day.
It provides talktime worth 75 paise and does not include outgoing SMS or data benefits.
Essentially, this plan is suitable for users who have already recharged with Rs 99, Rs 198, or Rs 204 plans.
These higher-value plans offer limited talktime, and once that is used up, users can opt for the Rs 1 plan to continue making calls at 75 paise per minute and receive one on-net night minute.
However, this plan is primarily for missed calls, as its benefits are limited to calling only.
Currently, this Rs 1 plan is the most affordable option in the telecom industry.
Other Plans
VI also offers a Rs 99 plan, which is unique and not available from other companies. This plan provides Rs 99 worth of talktime and 200MB data valid for 15 days.
Additionally, VI offers a Rs 198 plan with talktime worth Rs 198 and 500MB data for 30 days.
There’s a similar Rs 204 plan that includes talktime of Rs 204 and 500MB data valid for one month.
Calls in these plans are charged at 2.5p/sec. It’ll be interesting to see how long VI continues to offer this budget-friendly plan.
