Vivo has launched its new smartphone, the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G, in India.
The device arrives as the successor to last year’s Y51 Pro and comes with several upgrades in performance, durability, and battery life.
The smartphone is available in two colour options — Festive Red and Noble Gold.
It also carries the SGS 5-Star Premium Performance Mark for drop resistance and meets military-grade durability standards, making it more resistant to everyday wear and accidental drops.
AI Features and Software Experience
The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box.
The phone includes several AI-powered tools designed to make everyday tasks easier.
These include AI Creation, AI Notes, AI Transcript Assist, AI Captions, and Circle to Search.
It also offers productivity tools such as Vivo Docs for document management, Private Space for secure file storage, and Free Transfer, which allows users to quickly move files to a PC.
Another highlight is integration with Google Gemini, which provides advanced AI assistance for tasks such as searching, writing, and organizing information.
Display, Processor, and Battery
The phone features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and better visuals.
The display can reach up to 1250 nits peak brightness, making it easier to view the screen even in bright sunlight.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo 4nm octa-core processor, capable of reaching clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz.

The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G starts at ₹24,999 in India for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The higher-end version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at ₹27,999.
The smartphone will be available for purchase starting March 11, 2026, through Flipkart and the official Vivo India online store.
