Vivo Launches V29 Series in India with 50MP Selfie Camera (See Specs)

Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has made a significant entry into the Indian market with its latest smartphone series, the Vivo V29.

This new lineup includes two impressive devices: the Vivo V29 and the Vivo V29 Pro, both boasting AMOLED displays and a standout 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The Vivo V29 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, while the V29 Pro comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimension 8200 processor.

Both devices are supported by a robust 4600mAh battery that features lightning-fast 80W charging capabilities.

Vivo V29 Series Price and Availability

The Vivo V29 is offered in two variants: the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 32,999, and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is available for Rs 36,999.

Consumers can choose from an array of appealing colors, including Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black.

For the Vivo V29 Pro, the starting price is set at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is available at Rs 42,999.

It can be purchased in striking Himalayan Blue and elegant Space Black colors. Pre-bookings for the Vivo V29 Pro start today, with the phone hitting the shelves on October 10.

The Vivo V29, on the other hand, will be available for purchase starting October 17.

Both devices can be acquired through Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and offline stores, with enticing discounts for HDFC and SBI cardholders on online purchases and further discounts for offline buyers.

Vivo V29 Series: Power-Packed Specifications

The Vivo V29 and V29 Pro 5G feature expansive 6.78-inch AMOLED displays boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. A 50-megapixel selfie camera is nestled within a discreet punch hole cutout on the display.

Under the hood, the Vivo V29 is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor, while the V29 Pro packs MediaTek’s Dimension 8200 processor.

Both devices offer up to 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 256GB. They run on the latest Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13.

In terms of photography, the Vivo V29 features a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

The Vivo V29 Pro also boasts a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, accompanied by a 12MP portrait lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Both phones house a robust 4600mAh battery, capable of supporting 80W fast charging. Notably, both devices feature an in-display fingerprint sensor as a standout security feature.
